- Usage Instruction
- 1. How to Pop / Puff (For Laddoos, Chikki & Snacks) Heat a heavy-bottomed pan or kadai on medium-high heat without oil. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Rajgira seeds at a time. Stir quickly; the seeds will pop within seconds. Transfer to a bowl immediately to avoid burning. Use popped Rajgira to make traditional Rajgira Laddoos, Chikki, energy bars, or top on yogurt and milk bowls. 2. How to Cook as Porridge or Khichdi Ratio: 1 cup Rajgira seeds to 3 cups water or milk. Bring the liquid to a boil, add the seeds, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until soft and creamy. Enjoy sweet (with jaggery, nuts, and cardamom) or savory (as a healthy grain bowl or khichdi alternative). 3. Grinding into Fresh Flour (Rajgira Atta for Upvas) Dry grind the raw seeds in a mixer/grinder into a fine powder. Use the fresh flour to make Upvas Rotis, Puris, Parathas, or gluten-free baking recipes.
