Storage Instructions

Store unopened pouches in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze. Once opened, replace the cap, refrigerate immediately at 2 to 4 degrees C and use within 24 hours. Do not use if the pouch is swollen, leaking, damaged or past the date printed on the pack. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.

Feeding Instructions

Suitable for babies from 6 months as part of a varied weaning diet. Check each pouch is sealed and the cap intact before opening. Twist off the cap and squeeze the puree into a clean bowl, then feed with a spoon. You can also squeeze it directly onto a spoon. Do not feed straight from the pouch to a baby who is not yet able to sit up and feed themselves, as this makes it hard to judge how much they are taking. Serve at room temperature, or warm the bowl by standing it in hot water. Never microwave the pouch. Start with a few spoonfuls and build up as your baby gets used to it. Always supervise your baby while eating and keep them sitting upright. Serve only what your baby will finish and discard any puree the baby has eaten from, since saliva contact will spoil it. This is a smooth fruit puree, so continue to offer breast milk or formula as the main source of nutrition at this stage. Speak with your paediatrician before introducing solid foods.

Care Instructions

Always wash your hands and use a clean dry bowl and spoon before feeding. Wipe the cap and spout before opening if the pouch has been in a bag. Twist the cap back on firmly after each use and keep the pouch upright in the fridge to avoid leaks. Do not freeze. Do not microwave the pouch, and do not place it in boiling water; warm the puree in a bowl instead. Do not transfer the puree to another container for storage. Use a clean spoon each time and never return used puree to the pouch. Keep unopened pouches in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, and do not store them in a hot car or near a window. Handle the pouches gently to avoid puncturing the foil. Discard any pouch that is swollen, leaking, punctured or past the date printed on the pack, and discard opened puree after 24 hours in the fridge.
