Drop small portions of batter into hot oil., Fry on medium heat until the bhallas are golden and cooked., Soak the fried bhallas in warm water for a few minutes, then gently squeeze out excess water., Place them in a serving bowl and add whisked curd, chutneys and spices as desired., Serve fresh as Dahi Bhalla/Dahi Vada.
